Next, put your tree into the middle of the stand onto the spike; hold it straight and simply step onto the foot pedal until the claws firmly grab the trunk. After that, lock the foot pedal and add your water. You’re done! No more hassling with screws and worrying if they will hold up the tree. This tree stand is available in two different sizes. The XXL stand holds trees up to 12’ high and up to 7” in diameter with 2.5 gallons of water. The XL stand holds trees up to 9’ tall and trunks up to 7” in diameter while holding 1.5 gallons of water.
